Description
This book is a homage to the sympathetic and ingenious origami artist Eric Joisel († 2010). The book is bilingual throughout: Japanese and English.
More than 70 pages show the fantastic work of Joisel: animals, human figures, musicians, barbarians and figures of the Commedia dell’Arte.
This is followed by dedications by Robert Lang and Dave Brill, a long interview with Eric Joisel from Makoto Yamaguchi, several essays by Joisel and an index to the models shown with details about the year of origin, size and paper.
There are two instructions included: his rat and a dwarf.
