Kunihiko Kasahara is one of the great origami masters. He dominates all folding techniques. In the three volumes “Origami Shin Hakken” he sums up his extensive life’s work.
Volume 2 Kasahara devotes almost exclusively to one of his favorite topics: the cube. He presents cubes in all possible variations: decorative, varied, closed and open. But not only simple cubes – he also shows the “magic rose cube”, the “frog cube”, the “lotus flower cube” and cube elements, which are joined together to Kusudamas. All these modells are graceful and playful. In addition he shows flexigons and balls and stars which are folded with stripes.
A total of over 50 models. All models are shown in color on the first 10 pages.
